I recenty Joined Mac and I must say that 80% of the Mac hype is true. This machine is by far the best project I've ever heard. I have an octo-core model, and is also quite fast. This is my first Mac and I know that now I want to sell my laptop for a MacBook.
The cost of the machine is not expensive at all. Go build the same machine with Dell and other PC manufacturers and you can hardly make a difference, see generally around 2-400 dollars. This is not bad considering a Mac for twice what you can sell a PC. Also, you have with windows that you are using an old operating system, Leopard, if you encountered.
